If you find yourself unexpectedly in financial difficulty please let us know as soon as possible. We will try and reach an agreement with you which enables you to pay your bill within a reasonable period of time at a rate you can afford.
If you have a particular problem in getting the money to us because of illness or disability we can make alternative arrangements that will be more convenient to you. Please do not ignore any problems paying your water bill – talk to us straight away and we will try to find a way to help. Please contact us for further information and help.
You may be eligible for some or all of the below schemes and we might be able to help by:
putting you on our Welsh Water Assist tariff which caps your bill at £228
automatically deducting payments directly from your benefits under our Water Direct scheme which will reduce your annual bill by £25
making an application for you on our Customer Assistance Fund which can reduce the amount you owe.
The Citizens Advice Bureau and other money advice agencies can also give you free, independent, impartial and confidential advice.
