In our ‘Developers Guide’ you will find information about how to apply for and obtain a water supply or a connection to the public sewerage system and what information we will need from you.

The installation of water mains and services has traditionally always been undertaken directly by Water Companies or their contractors. Read our ‘Self-lay supply of mains and services policy’ to find out about how other organisations can now undertake this work.

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water will require all proposed installers to be members of the Lloyd’s Register Water Registration Scheme. Proof of the accreditation will be required at the time of application. • Application Form to Self Lay Water Mains and Services Water Industry Act Sections 41-45
• SL 1 - Notification of commencement of mains works for self-lay scheme
• SL 2 - Request for water mains sampling and mains connection for a Self-Lay Scheme
• SL 3 - Notification of commencement of water service connections for a water self lay scheme
• SL 4 - Notification of completed service connections & meter installations on self lay water mains scheme
• SL 5 - Notification of completed service connections and request for meter installations
