THE DIRTY DOZEN

THE DIRTY DOZEN

Using your toilet as a bin is not only bad for the environment – but blocked drains can cause very unpleasant flooding of properties and cost you a hefty bill to sort out the mess.

The Sheriff

That’s why we want everyone to know about the problems caused when ‘The Dirty Dozen’ are flushed down the toilet and clog up our sewerage pipes.

As part of our ‘Dirty Dozen’ campaign we have produced some downloadable promotional items which we are encouraging large organisations, councils and secondary schools to adopt to encourage people to think before flushing items other than toilet paper and human waste down the toilet.

The ‘Dirty Dozen’ poster

The ‘Dirty Dozen’ poster can be printed off and can be laminated and placed in communal areas of the public toilets, perhaps near the washbasins or on the back of the door as you enter into the toilet. Click here to download

The ‘Dirty Dozen’ leaflet

The ‘Dirty Dozen’ leaflet offers advice on how to dispose of the ‘Dirty Dozen’ responsibly without causing unnecessary problems for whoever manages the premises, or for us as the water and sewerage company. Click here to download

The ‘Dirty Dozen’ circle

The ‘Dirty Dozen’ circle can also be printed, laminated and stuck on the back of the individual toilet doors. Click here to download

The Dirty Dozen - The Movie

We are promoting the ‘Dirty Dozen’ campaign with a spoof cowboy film, starring pupils of Ysgol Gyfun Garth Olwg, Church Village, near Pontypridd. Its star is Jay Worley who acts the part of a tough sheriff determined to put a stop to the Dirty Dozen – helped by five fellow pupils.
