Welsh Water and its partners are proud to support WaterAid, which works in 17 countries providing water, sanitation and hygiene education to some of the world's poorest people.

Staff across the business are actively involved in a wide range of fundraising activities each year. In the last 5 years of fundraising staff, have raised almost £700,000. We are already well ahead of our target to raise £1m in the 10years to 2014. All money raised in Wales is used to support WaterAid projects in Uganda.

For the past three years we have given someone from Wales the opportunity to go on the WaterAid Supporters Trip to see for themselves the difference the charity makes to the lives of so many people. In 2008 Mary Watkins visited WaterAid projects in Uganda. Click here to see Mary’s blog.
