Draft Drought Plan published on our website for Public consultation and sent to key stakeholders

Representation of your views for a period of 8 weeks

14 July 2006 to 8 September 2006

DCWW will publish a statement responding to all of the representations received

By 27 October 2006

Possible Public Inquiry, under the direction of the Secretary of State and the Welsh Assembly Government

Production of a Final Drought Plan, in consultation with the representations, the Environment Agency Wales, the Secretary of State and the Welsh Assembly Government

Publication of a Final Drought Plan

Awaiting WAG Direction

 

On 25 May 2006 Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water received indication from the Welsh Assembly Government that some parts of the Drought Plan could be removed on the grounds of commercial confidentiality*.  These parts have clearly been identified within the Drought Plan.
